The Quest for the Perfect Shoes

As a children’s fashion lover, I love buying Baby shoes.  Which has meant she has always had a plentiful supply.  Well, they have to match the outfits, right?!

The quest for the Perfect shoes

Baby’s feet grow like weeds and so I was delighted when we were offered a voucher to spend in store, to test out the service and the shoes!  We have two local stores, but we headed for the one in town, mainly so we could go and visit the swans on the canal too.

Measuring

First of all it was time to get Baby’s feet measured.  The assistant helping us, Lizzie, was so lovely and very helpful.  We obviously had to measure Upsy Daisy’s feet too…..  Baby then decided to do a lap of the shop, touching ever shoe she could reach and saying shouting ‘shoe’!

Once I finally caught up with her, we checked her measurements and she is now a 7.5 G (but Lizzie explained that a 7 in a Clarks shoe would still be o.k and they allow 0.5 of a size growing room). She is taking after Mummy (size 9) and Daddy (size 12) in the big foot department!

After trying on a couple of pairs of boots, we found the most gorgeous shoes!  They are so cute and are from the girl’s shoe range (priced at £30). If you can’t wear bunny’s on your shoes when you’re 22 months old, when can you!  I adore the colour and think it is quite versatile.  After Baby had a quick spin around the shop, we made the purchase.  Look how pretty they are!

Then Baby needed to road test them, so we popped out for a quick photo shoot!  They are are such lovely shoes and I know she will get lots of use out of them, unless her feet grow again!

road test

You can always be assured that the quality of Clarks shoes are the best and the children will outgrow, rather than wear them out.

Disclosure:  We were sent a voucher to purchase these shoes.  All opinions are my own and are 100% honest.

  2. Elsa has these shoes but her bunny face is bright pink and the rest of it is grey. I love little shoes and could easily spend a fortune in Clarks every time I go in. She is a 5 at the moment and still got plenty of growing room but her feet seem huge to me!
