Yesterday I shared our day out to the New Forest Wildlife Park, on the next day of our little Hampshire break we headed to Beaulieu House and Gardens. I was quite excited as they had a Vintage Fair on that day too, and I love Vintage goodies! We were a little early, so on the way we stopped at this lovely spot, just a couple of minutes from Beaulieu, to the take in the beautiful countryside.
The first thing I noticed when we arrived at Beaulieu were these lovely statues, which were dotted around the whole site. We saw the monorail and made a note to go on it later on.
There was a classic car show on and Baby spent a fair amount of time looking for Blaze and the Monster Machines! I had my eye on a rather nice Triumph. Just need that lottery win now!
However, my favourite vehicle was this gorgeous VW camper. The colour was perfect and the interior was to die for, I was just a tiny bit jealous!
I could resist the temptation no longer and headed to the Vintage fair for a snoop around. I picked up a few bits for friends and a vintage suitcase, which is perfect for a blog project I have in mind.
Baby was desperate to have her face painted and I think she makes a wonderful Disco Cat!
We had a fab trip round the gardens on this vintage bus, Baby loved it.
There was a great showroom which housed cars from many famous shows, such as Wallace & Gromit and Only Fools and Horses.
Baby was so excited to have a ride on the monorail, so we took a trip across to the other side of the grounds to the wonderful gardens.
She was so cute, trying to feed the sculpted hedges!
As a big Alice in Wonderland fan, you can imagine my delight when I set eyes on this!
We walked a little further up and much to Baby’s delight, we found a lovely playground.
The restaurant was wonderful (although I only had a cup of tea!). Baby and Mr Hubby had lunch and there was such a great selection of really good quality food.
We had a fab day at Beaulieu and would recommend it for a varied day out.
