Oh my poor feet! I am not kind to my feet. I do not lavish them with much attention and I’m afraid it shows. However, I recently decided I wanted to feel more polished and have started to try and up my game a little. It is really hard when you are a parent, and are pushed for time, to carve out ‘me’ time. So I need solutions that are quick!
When the lovely people at Scholl asked if I would like to try the Velvet Smooth Luxury Pedicure set, I thought it would help me give some love to my tootsies.
(At the time of publication this set is on offer exclusively at Boots for £40, RRP: £80). So if you like the look of it, go and get it now!
So what do you get in the set?
- A lovely beauty bag- ideal for keeping all the bits and pieces safe
- Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi- A battery operated device which buffs away hard skin.
- Scholl Velvet Smooth Intense Serum- A hydrating serum, which contains hyaluronic acid which penetrates the skin leaving it immediately very soft.
- A glass emery board
- Toe separators
My verdict
I own an earlier version of this express pedi and this model is so much better. It is shaped to make it easy to hold and it has a really heavy duty roller buffer (more so than my previous machine). I thought it provided a quick and effective way to get rid of dry skin. It worked a treat on my feet. I used the serum straight after and it felt really luxurious, giving lasting results.
I think the extras, of the bag, file and separators are a lovely addition. It would make a great present. However, I feel the usual price of £80 is too expensive and although it is a great product, I would not pay that much. The offer price makes it a good buy.
Disclosure: I was sent this Velvet Smooth Luxury Pedicure set in return for an honest review.

My feet a terrible too! I never pay them any attention and just cover them in socks or tights. Maybe 2015 will be the year I start to look after them!
(Reading about your feet just makes me smile and remember you falling off your flats at Blogfest!)
