The List #56

Welcome to ‘The List‘, which is a great linky that I co-host with amaze-balls Hannah from Mums’ Days.  The idea is simple, just link up any post that is in list/bullet point format, easy! (a few bullet points in a post is fine too!). I use mine to record my weekly highlights, but yours could be a ‘top ten’ list or anything you fancy.  Posts can be old or new, all welcome.

This week I am linking potty training on a day out and Brittany family days out.  Hannah is sharing Bedroom Ideas and Free Halloween Sticker Chart.

We are also linking mastering blog habits in 6 steps from our collaborative blog Live. Love. Blog.

My favourite posts from last week were;

mummascribbles

Lisa’s post celebrating her son’s third birthday was really lovely.

Franki’s post sharing her concerns about her little one starting pre school will have struck a chord with so many parents, beautifully written too.

I thought Jude’s 5 Ways to Avoid A Chugger Like a Child was really funny.

Now time for my list;

REAL LIFE

  • After finding a pony for Baby to share, the owner has decided to sell her, so Baby can no longer ride her.  We do have another pony to view on Sunday, so fingers crossed that one will work out for us.

  • Mr Hubby is going to be away for almost 3 weeks in October!  Solo parenting isn’t my favourite thing and I have no idea how I am going to get everything done. Yikes!

  • Last weekend we had a lovely break in Devon and Team Snowing Indoors came with us.  You can read about it here.

BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • The best post I read this week: Should Bloggers get paid?, a fab post from Jacqui over at MLM Life and Style

  • My own favourite post this week was; I think my Pink Clove dress review, as I don’t do many style posts and I had my fab friend Em take the pictures, so it was really fun to do.

  • New blog discovery: It was actually Jude’s blog Dreamcatching, not sure how I missed this great blog.

So you know what do to, grab the badge and link up your lists. I can’t wait to have a read!

  1. Always tough getting everything done when you find yourself doing it alone (though I do find there’s less cleaning & tidying – evidently I am not the mess maker here!)

    We were in Devon last weekend too! #TheList

  2. Thankyou so much for hosting, I’m linking up from my phone so I don’t forget later but I’ll add your badge when I’m on the desk top in a bit xx

  3. Such a shame about the pony for Baby to share. I hope the next one works out. Mr TB is away form Monday to Friday during November and December, so feeling your pain re solo parenting. Just as you get into a routine they come back again and mess it up! 😉 x

  4. What a frustrating thing to have found a suitable pony and then lost it! At least it gave you another reason to do some more pony searching (I’m absolutely obsessed with all things equine!!) Hope it works out!! Thanks for hosting!

  5. Thanks for hosting! First time here and I hope my post counts OK as a list! Will be checking out your blog recommendations above 🙂

  6. Oh no selling pony that’s so sad! I hope you manage to find another way. Eek 3 weeks is a long time but solo parenting does have its benefits – I usually find my little one more co-operative when daddy is not around….good luck! Thanks as always for hosting #TheList

  7. Hope you manage to find another pony for Baby soon. Good luck with coping when Mr Hubby goes away – mine is just back after being away for two weeks (and barely home for the week before that) so I can sympathise! Hope you have a lovely weekend and thank you for hosting #TheList 🙂

  8. OMG totally love your new look! You kept that quiet… now I feel so slow getting TheJoyChaser.com up and running! Thanks for hosting your fab linky again lovely. (P.S. just booked Blogfest – hope to see you there for a natter x)

  9. What a shame about the pony! Good luck this time round. Thanks for hosting #TheList – there always seems to be loads of fab posts 🙂 Loving the blue/turquoise?

  10. Hi, it’s my first time here and very very new to link-ups, so pardon my ignorance (and do let me know if I am not doing anything right.). Thanks again for hosting and providing such a wonderful opportunity.

    I do look forward to any feedback anyone might have (I’m also called The Mulk – the “why” is explained on the website). It’s definitley time for me to come out of my shell.

    Look forward to reading more about your new pony. I remember I loved your pic of your horse. Yes, we’re all animal crazy in my home too. If only I did not live in the city! I’ll be following you!

  11. Ooh 3 weeks is a while for your hubby to be gone, hope that time goes smoothly for you. I’m quite a bit nervous, mine will be away for like 4 months next year.

  12. Gosh 3 weeks! Mine was away for just 3 days last week and that was enough and we don’t have any children. I look forward to seeing what you get up to X

  13. Great link up. And looking forward to reading your recommended posts. Have been inspired by your 8 photos of happiness! I have added the html text but it’s not showing up as badge – unsure what I have done wrong. WordPress gets the better of me sometimes!

  14. Thanks so much for having me and for hosting, I always have a great time. I loved the post of dresses you modeled. You have so much to be proud of, your daughter, your blog, and your courage to triumph and attain your goals! You go girl!!!

  15. Wow, three weeks of solo parenting is going to drain me out!
    I suggest you take your toddlers on family trips to meet their cousins and chill out.

    Both you and the children can have a blast of your time.!
