The List #64

Welcome to week 64 of ‘The List‘! If you are new here this is a linky I co-host with amazing Hannah from Mums’ Days.  The idea is simple, link up any post that is in list/bullet point format, easy! (a few bullet points in a post is fine too!).

I use mine to record my weekly highlights, but yours could be a ‘top ten’ list or anything you fancy.  Posts can be old or new, all welcome.

This week I am linking up 15 awesome Christmas cards you can make with kids and my round-up of #LittleFierceOnes. Hannah is sharing How to Ski and Black Friday Tips.

Hannah is leaving!

I am very sad to announce that after 64 weeks of #TheList Hannah has decided that she can no longer co-host. We have had so much fun together and we both love this linky, but I understand Hannah needs to move onto other things.  All the best my lovely, you will be missed.  We still have our collaborative blog, so we will still be working together.

New co-host

I am so happy to be able to tell you all that my new co-host will be Amy from Mr and Mrs T Plus Three, one of my best friends, and co-collaborator on a number of other projects.  Amy can’t wait to get stuck in and her first week of #TheList will be 11th December.

New badge on its way!

I am beavering away making a new badge and by this time next week it will be ready and we will pop it in these posts so you can get the new code.  Then, we would ask that on the 11th you use these new badges to link up to either myself or Amy.

My favourite posts from last week were;

thelist

Cathy’s ’23 signs you’ve watched too much kid’s tv’ was a fabulous read.

 thelist

‘So you think you can mom’ was such a funny post and very true.

The List

Lauren’s post ‘Things my toddler has kissed’ made me realise I am not alone!

Now time for my list;

REAL LIFE

  • I had my first meeting/update with Baby’s Preschool teacher.  I was really nervous, but I shouldn’t have been as she is doing really well.

  • Mr Hubby has been away in France all week (coming tomorrow!).

  • Baby has been quite challenging this week, I think tiredness has played a part, but wow exhausting!

BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • I have started to write my first round up of newbies for Britmums. I love being able to showcase these wonderful bloggers.

  • Quite a lot of work has come in this week, which has mean’t a bit of a relentless pace.

  • The best post I read this week: Why are we so shit at self promotion by my wonderful friend Nat over at Style Me Sunday.

So you know what do to, grab the badge and link up your lists. I can’t wait to have a read!

    No joke, Rose has been playing me up something awful this week, it must be in the air. So glad Mr hubby is home tomorrow to give you a well earned break. Love you lots xxx

  2. Yeah for baby doing well at nursery isn’t it strange how we get all nervous meeting teachers. Looking forward to reading your newbies piece x Thanks for hosting

  3. Wow, big changes. Good luck to both Hannah and Amy.
    There is a list in my post this week, it just might take a while to get there!

  4. So glad Baby has settled and is doing well at pre school – I know had hard it can be for both you and her! In my experience, children often get very tired at school on the run up to Christmas and behaviour can become more challenging! Thanks for your social media advice – I have taken it on board 🙂 Thanks also for hosting 🙂 #TheList

  13. I was so so so nervous about my first parent-teacher meeting. I think I was more nervous than going for a job interview! Glad everything went well. Thanks for hosting!

  14. Oh, solo parenting is tiring! Hope you’re enjoying having hubby back. And well done Baby on the pre-school report 🙂

    Lots of exciting change going on with #thelist!

  15. Must have been a tricky week with husband away – i miss mine when he’s out at work and that’s only for the day. I admit I dropped in on the slow-cooker fudge post – think I may have to give it a go over Christmas at some point (am breast-feeding after all, ergo need the extra calories!)
