For most of us Christmas is a time for being with family; yet for some elderly people it can be a very lonely time. This year, Inkly (greeting card company) is supporting the Contact the Elderly (CTE) charity, which organises festive tea parties for older people living alone – Inkly is giving 10% of sales to CTE.
They carried out research which found that a whopping 83% of people over 60 felt an increase in happiness when they receive a card. Inkly use special technology so you can send send real, handwritten cards from an App in under 3 minutes, #SendGrannyLove !

- 52% of people believe that sending grandparents cards from grandchildren helps them to feel special.
In return for this post Inkly are giving £88 to Contact the Elderly, which will fund 11 older people living alone to attend a festive tea party this Christmas.
