19 types of email you can send to your email list

I always seem to be talking about email lists and how important they are. Why they’re important, how to build them, grow them and everything in between. However, I know that the one stumbling block many of you have is what to actually send to your email subscribers. What are the types of email you can send to your email list? Email lists can be so useful in growing your authority within your niche, expanding your community and increasing your income.  So, it pays to get the content you’re sending out right.

Today, I’m going to share with you 19 different types of email you can send to your email list.

You can send an RSS feed to your list, but I really believe you should only do this if you also send a weekly bespoke email. If I didn’t send the exclusive content, I wouldn’t send the RSS. Sending them a summary of the content they can find easily on my blog, is not reason enough for them to join my list.

Types of email you can send to your email list

1. Worksheets, Printables, Checklists

As long as these are specific and useful, your subscribers will love getting a freebie. Think of something super useful that will make their life easier.

2. Use a success story to promote your affiliates.

Are you an affiliate for a product you have had great success with. For example, I use and love the Twitter scheduler Social Oomph* (affiliate link), so I could share my experience as a case study and obviously include my affiliate link too!

3. Behind the scenes peep at your life or biz.
