My Weekly Weigh In

Welcome back to my weigh in!   This week is my 24th week on the Diet Chef plan.   All my previous weigh ins are here, if you want a little look-see.

So how has this week been, actually pretty good.  I had some shopping success (see my mini win) and was on plan all week, apart from one meal (piri piri chicken and roasted veg).

We are getting to the point now in my weight loss, that big life changes are happening.  Yes, you notice differences after 1 or 2 stone of loss, but get to 4 stone and life changing stuff is starting to happen.

  • Energy: I have noticed a big increase in my energy levels.  Often, I get very little sleep, yet still I can be awake working at midnight.  Before the weight loss, I would definitely have been asleep by 10pm.
  • Activity levels: Everything is so much easier now.  I am more keen to go for longer walks and run round the park like a loon with Baby, which she loves!
  • Participating fully: Last year (before I started Diet Chef), we went to CBeebies land and I was so paranoid that I would sink the In The Night Garden Boat (even though it was on a metal track!).  So I watched Mr Hubby and Baby go round without me and if I am honest, it broke my heart.  THAT won’t be happening again!

Going into H&M and buying a ‘medium’ skirt off the sale rail!  It was £3, which is another mini win (o.k, so it is stretchy, but I’m happy with that).

Diet Chef

This week, if I am honest I am disappointed, as I gained +1.  However, it is the time of the month that I retain water and so hopefully things will get back to normal next week.  I think certain fluctuations are only to be expected, especially as I am losing so much weight.

Weight lost

+1lb (total 56lb in  24 weeks)

Total inches lost (across 10 measurements)

Didn’t measure as Baby has stolen the tape measure…. (total -66.5″ in 23 weeks)

The programme I am on would cost £8.75 per day.  However, if you order a 12 week supply this daily cost reduces to £6.61 (this is for all three meals and a snack).  Check the website for great offers.

Disclosure: I am being sent Diet Chef hampers in order to review the programme.  All opinions are 100% honest and are my own.

  1. Absolutely brilliant huni. Well done. You have done so so well. I have lost over a stone and still got my sights on more to loose. Can’t wait. I may have to consider diet chef for the 12 weeks. Then do another C9 for the last few pounds. I did get an email with an offer / may have to sign up seeing as you are doing so well. Xxx
