Now I don’t say this lightly, but the Diet Chef plan has changed my life. I was at a point when I was considering gastric band surgery (although I technically wasn’t heavy enough). I was totally miserable with myself and my size; not knowing where to turn. Not being able to exercise hard enough to shift the pounds…. stones, due to back/pelvis issues was a big issue. I had tried lots of diets and none reaped large enough rewards, considering the amount I had to lose (details of all my previous weigh ins are here if you want a little look).
Then in October 2014, I partnered up with Diet Chef and my life started to change. Diet Chef is easy, quick, convenient and most of all effective. At my heaviest I was already missing out on family activities. I didn’t want to break anything or get stuck anywhere, so I would sit on the sidelines which was heartbreaking.
So now with support from Diet Chef, I have lost 4 stone and so many things have changed for me. I take more of an active part in family activities, my psychological well being is improving, I can shop in the main section of high street shops, I have more energy, the list goes on. I have a lot still to lose, but for once in my 19 year dieting career, I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
This week has been a bit of a mixed bag, we had a few day trips to celebrate Baby’s birthday and so I wasn’t on plan all week. I did, however, do a fair bit of walking. On Baby’s birthday, I wore my new bargain (£3!) H&M skirt and was confident enough to post a full length picture on IG (I have lots of lovely feedback too!).
Weight lost
-1lb (total 57lb)
Total inches lost (across 10 measurements)
– 1″ (67.5″ total )
I am actually quite pleased with a loss at all and am now kicking on for a bigger loss next week.
The programme I am on would cost £8.75 per day. However, if you order a 12 week supply this daily cost reduces to £6.61 (this is for all three meals and a snack). Check the website for great offers.
Disclosure: I am being sent Diet Chef hampers in order to review the programme. All opinions are 100% honest and are my own.
I would love it if you could spare the time to vote for me in the BIB awards (‘Family’ probably fits my blog best)
